People no longer type “best coffee shop NYC”; they ask their AI assistant, “Where can I find a quiet coffee shop in Manhattan with good Wi-Fi?” Modern SEO focuses on long-tail keywords and conversational intent, which aligns perfectly with how AI processes queries. By answering specific, complex questions on your blog, you position yourself as the “featured snippet” in an AI’s world.
Ultimately, the rise of AI search doesn’t change the goal of SEO—it raises the stakes. You are no longer just competing for a click; you are competing to be the knowledge source for the entire internet.
